NIGERIA – FanMilk has appointed Oreoluwa Mobolaji Atinmo as the Managing Director of Nigeria, marking a significant leadership transition for the company.
This historic appointment makes her the first female Managing Director of FanMilk Nigeria, reflecting the ongoing commitment to fostering diverse talent, advancing inclusion, and developing strong local leadership.
With extensive FMCG experience and a proven track record of driving growth, innovation, and operational excellence, Oreoluwa brings the expertise and vision needed to lead the next chapter of our business in Nigeria.
She will focus on advancing our growth agenda, strengthening consumer engagement, and enhancing our route-to-market capabilities.
The appointment comes after FanMilk appointed three executives to regional leadership roles covering its West Africa operations, including Nigeria, as the Danone subsidiary moves to lock in the management structure behind its strongest recent financial performance.
Lio Parent, previously Managing Director of FanMilk Ghana, takes on an expanded mandate as Regional Managing Director for West Africa.
Carelle Manket Olympio has been appointed Finance Director for West Africa, and Ayodeji Adewale joins her as Sales Director for West Africa. All three are internal promotions.
Parent brings a track record in digital transformation and route-to-market restructuring built across Danone’s African and Middle Eastern operations, and earlier stints at William Grant & Sons and Pernod Ricard managing multiple African markets.
His expanded brief now includes Nigeria, where FanMilk has operated since 1963 out of its Ibadan production facility, alongside Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Togo, and Benin.
FanMilk West Africa earns historic B Corp Certification
The company earned B Corp (Benefit Corporations) Certification, becoming the first and largest consumer goods company in West Africa to achieve this global recognition.
With an overall B Impact Score of 83.8, well above the median score of 50.9 for businesses worldwide, this move underscores the company’s 60-year legacy of delivering refreshing dairy and juice products while creating positive impact in Ghana, Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Togo, and Benin.
Guided by Danone’s dual impact strategy, FanMilk balances economic growth with meaningful social impact. The company drives local economies by creating direct and indirect jobs across its value chain, from production to distribution.
