FanMilk strengthens West Africa leadership with new appointments

WEST AFRICA – FanMilk has appointed three executives to regional leadership roles covering its West Africa operations, including Nigeria, as the Danone subsidiary moves to lock in the management structure behind its strongest recent financial performance.

Lio Parent, previously Managing Director of FanMilk Ghana, takes on an expanded mandate as Regional Managing Director for West Africa.

Carelle Manket Olympio has been appointed Finance Director for West Africa, and Ayodeji Adewale joins her as Sales Director for West Africa. All three are internal promotions.

Parent brings a track record in digital transformation and route-to-market restructuring built across Danone’s African and Middle Eastern operations, and earlier stints at William Grant & Sons and Pernod Ricard managing multiple African markets.

His expanded brief now includes Nigeria, where FanMilk has operated since 1963 out of its Ibadan production facility, alongside Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Togo, and Benin.

The company recorded a 46.3% increase in revenue to US$93.83 million (GHS 1 billion) for the year ended December 31, 2025, up from US$64.27 million (GHS 683.8 million) in 2024, according to unaudited financial statements filed with the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE).

Profit after tax rose 36 per cent to US$6.34 million (GHS 67.4 million) from US$4.65 million (GHS 49.5 million), while earnings per share increased to GHS 0.58 from GHS 0.43.

The company, a subsidiary of Danone and a leading frozen dairy producer in Ghana, invested US$3.38 million (GHS 36 million) in capital expenditure during the year.

Gross profit increased to USD 36.12 million (GHS 384.3 million) from US$26.09 million (GHS 277.5 million), though cost of sales rose to US$57.93 million (GHS 616.3 million) from US$38.19 million (GHS 406.3 million), reflecting higher input costs for raw materials.

Recently, the company unveiled its latest indulgence: FanMilk Yaourt, a deliciously creamy yoghurt.

FanMilk Yaourt comes in two flavours:  vanilla and strawberry. The vanilla variant offers a rich, comforting taste that’s both familiar and satisfying, while the strawberry flavour bursts with fruity sweetness, making it a refreshing treat for yogurt consumers.

With this launch, FanMilk continues its tradition of delivering high-quality dairy products that combine taste, nutrition, and convenience.
