Clover unveils new fruit snack in South Africa

SOUTH AFRICA – Clover has unveiled a first-of-its-kind innovation under its market-leading Krush brand: the Clover Krush 100% Fruit Snack.

This new product marks the company’s entry into a completely fresh category, offering consumers a naturally better snack made entirely from fruit.

Designed to fit seamlessly into everyday life, the Clover Krush 100% Fruit Snack caters to families, professionals, and anyone seeking a wholesome pick-me-up.

The range is available in five fruity flavors and comes in two versatile formats.

For those on the move, the 110ml on-the-go pouches provide a quick and refreshing option, while the 4x100g cups are ideal for sharing or stocking up at home.

Clover South Africa, founded in 1898 and headquartered in Roodepoort, Gauteng, has grown into the country’s largest branded dairy and consumer goods company.

The company’s portfolio is extensive. Its core dairy line includes fresh and UHT milk, butter, cheese, yogurt, and fermented products. Clover has also diversified into non-dairy categories such as soy milk, desserts, and beverages.

In 2022, the Competition Tribunal of South Africa conditionally approved the proposed acquisition of the milk procurement business, Dairy Farmers of South Africa (DFSA), by the branded consumer goods company Clover SA.

DFSA procures regular raw milk from milk producers predominantly located in KwaZulu-Natal, the Eastern Cape, and the Highveld.

Its operations include buying milk from farmers, transporting raw milk from farmers to factories for cooling, conducting quality checks, and providing administrative, financial, and contract management services.
