CANADA – Lactalis Canada, part of France-based Lactalis Group, has announced the promotion of Burhan Khan to the position of General Manager for its Cheese & Tablespreads division.
Burhan will be responsible for the Cheese & Tablespreads division’s overall long-term strategy, sales, marketing, and retail partnerships.
This includes overseeing a portfolio of iconic brands such as Cracker Barrel, Black Diamond, Balderson, P’tit Québec, Cheestrings Ficello, aMOOza!, Président, Galbani, Lactantia butter, and Enjoy!
“Burhan brings exceptional leadership experience, commercial and marketing acumen and a deep understanding of Lactalis Canada’s business making him a natural fit for this role,” said Mark Taylor, President and CEO, Lactalis Canada.
“Lactalis Canada’s Cheese & Tablespreads portfolio represents a significant pillar of our business, and we look forward to Burhan and the team executing on this division’s growth plans and driving the next chapter of its success.”
Burhan joined Lactalis Canada in 2019 and most recently served as Vice President, Marketing for the Yogurt & Cultured division where he played a significant role in growing and expanding the company’s Yogurt and Cultured business.
Earlier this year, he joined the Cheese & Tablespreads division as Vice President of Marketing. Prior to Lactalis Canada, Burhan held various leadership roles at McCain Foods, Unilever and Reckitt Benckiser.
