UK – Ben & Jerry’s, an ice cream brand, has introduced its latest flavor, Chocolatey Orange Chunk, expanding its footprint in the region.

This new offering combines chocolate ice cream with chocolatey chunks and a hint of orange, catering to consumer demand for innovative flavour combinations.

Chocolatey Orange Chunk is positioned within the premium ice cream segment, reflecting Ben & Jerry’s ongoing strategy to diversify its product range and appeal to evolving consumer preferences.

Oli Manz, Flavour Guru at Ben & Jerry’s, noted that the decision to create this flavour was driven by consumer feedback. “We know our fans love all things chocolatey, and we’ve been hearing them cry out for a chocolate orange flavour for ages,” he said.

Chocolatey Orange Chunk is made with Fairtrade Certified ingredients, including sugar and cocoa. This commitment to ethical sourcing not only enhances the brand’s image but also appeals to consumers concerned about sustainability and social responsibility in their purchasing decisions.

Earlier this year, the company introduced a new packaging format, expanding beyond its traditional pint-sized containers.

Reported by the company, the new Scoop-apalooza collection, launched on January 14, features 28-ounce containers designed for easier sharing.

According to a statement from Haylee Nelson, a flavor guru at Ben & Jerry’s, the new offering is intended to be inclusive and unpretentious, complementing various desserts and celebrations.

For the debut, Ben & Jerry’s introduced four new flavors: Vanilla & Fudge Brownie, Chocolate & Fudge Swirl, Strawberries & Cream, and Coffee & Fudge Chip.

A report by the company detailed that Vanilla & Fudge Brownie consists of vanilla ice cream combined with swirls of Greyston Bakery fudge brownies. Chocolate & Fudge Swirl is crafted with a chocolate ice cream base blended with rich fudge swirls.

Strawberries & Cream combines a sweet cream base with strawberry swirls, while Coffee & Fudge Chip features coffee ice cream sourced from BLK & Bold, mixed with fudge chips.

Founded in 1978 in Burlington, Vermont, Ben & Jerry’s is known for its wide range of ice cream flavors, including non-dairy options.

A report by the company highlights its offerings beyond traditional ice cream, such as ice cream cakes, sundaes, shakes, Cookie Dough Chunks, and Doggie Desserts.
