The company has an estimated 15% share of Estonia’s cheese market, ranking it fourth in the domestic market.

The transaction is expected to close by the end of the first quarter of calendar 2027, subject to customary closing conditions, including receipt of applicable regulatory approvals.

The letter of intent is non-binding, and the final transaction remains subject to a definitive agreement and regulatory procedures.

This new partnership combines Danone’s dairy business in Argentina, Mastellone Hermanos SA, and Logistica La Serenísima, their common logistics subsidiary.

As privately held entities, Sargento and La Terra Fina will not disclose any financial details of the sale.
