The rebrand comes at a time when UK dairy companies are increasingly focused on sustainability, innovation, and consumer trust.

UK – Ehrmann Cornish Dairy has announced that it will rebrand Trewithen Dairy to Cornish Dairy Co. from April 2026, with the updated branding set to roll out across grocery channels as part of a strategy to drive brand recognition, shelf standout and continued national growth.
According to the company, the rebrand is designed to support long-term growth while celebrating the brand’s Cornish provenance, heritage, and commitment to quality.
It will further establish the company as a leader in the premium dairy sector while showcasing its ties to the rich history of Cornish farming.
Following a visual rebrand in 2024 and an acquisition by Ehrmann (now Ehrmann Cornish Dairy), Trewithen Dairy has strongly established itself as a household name and leader in the dairy sector with sales increasing by 11% in 2025 and retail volume growing substantially.
Now, a shift to Cornish Dairy Co. allows the brand to put that front and centre in a way that’s clearer, bolder, and more meaningful for today’s shopper across the UK.
Ahead of this rebrand, Cornish Dairy Co. has already established a strong indication of success with over 60% of consumers choosing new branding over Trewithen Dairy in prior testing.
Importantly, long-standing partnerships with local Cornish farmers will continue, and the same quality consumers and retailers who have come to love and know Trewithen Dairywill remain.
On the decision to rebrand,Emma Lawes, Head of Marketing at Cornish Dairy Co., said, “This rebrand is about celebrating who we truly are. We have always been proudly Cornish, and Cornish Dairy Co. allows us to put that front and centre in a way that is clearer, bolder, and more meaningful for today’s shopper.
“We remain dedicated to delivering the high-quality dairy products our customers have come to love but to also connecting shoppers with our Cornish heritage and proud dairy farmers. We’re looking ahead to an exciting future that will see Cornish Dairy Co. become a staple in households, coffee shops, and restaurants alike.”
Ehrmann Cornish Dairy tackles waste with switch from plastic bottles
In 2025, the company announced that it would switch three of its fresh cream products from traditional HDPE plastic bottles to beverage cartons.
In partnership with Elopak, the dairy has installed a new filling line for Pure-Pak cartons at its Glynn Valley site. This is part of a significant investment following its recent acquisition by the Ehrmann Group.
The fresh Cornish whipping cream, double cream and buttermilk is available this autumn in 300, 500 and 1000 ml Pure-Pak cartons.
The introduction of Pure-Pak cartons, replacing plastic packaging, is a major milestone for Trewithen products, which are all made exclusively from 100% Cornish Milk, sourced from regional family farms.
