Kinangop launches new sweetened lala in Kenya

KENYA – Kinangop Dairy Limited has introduced a new addition to its portfolio: Kinangop Sweetened Lala, a product designed to deliver everyday freshness and convenience for consumers.

The new offering is already available in select outlets, including Powerstar Save Everyday, and is set to roll out to more retail stores soon.

The product is available in a variety of pack sizes to suit different needs: a 500ml pouch, as well as 250g, 500g, and 1-litre bottles.

Similarly, in 2025, the company introduced Kinangop Gold Yoghurt, a new range of premium dairy products aimed at enhancing indulgence and flavor in the yoghurt market.

According to the company, the selection has been crafted with carefully curated taste profiles to appeal to diverse consumer preferences.  

The newly launched range features a variety of flavors, including pineapple, vanilla, strawberry, lemon biscuit, and chocolate. 

“Each variant is designed to offer a balance between indulgence and wholesomeness, appealing to both classic and adventurous palates,” the company said. 

“We are so happy that the yoghurts turned out the way they did. We’ve been working on this project for about a year now, and now, I can say that it was worth it.” 

The yoghurts will be available in 400g family-sized packs as well as 200g options for on-the-go consumers.  

The company’s dedication to quality was further seen at the 5th Annual Kenya Beverage Excellence Awards (KBEA), where Kinangop Dairy received multiple accolades for its dairy products.
