KENYA – Dairyland, dairy and confectionery manufacturer, has introduced its latest drinking chocolate, expanding its product offering.

Crafted with a rich blend of cocoa and real milk solids, Dairyland’s Drinking Chocolate delivers a velvety texture.

The inclusion of milk doesn’t just add creaminess, it enhances the chocolate’s natural sweetness and gives each sip a smooth, indulgent finish that lingers for long.

Dairyland’s latest creation comes wrapped in vibrant packaging and an even more vibrant message: cocoa should be fun, flavorful, and full of personality.

The pack also carries the tagline “Sip It Loud”, reinforcing the brand’s confident, feel-good messaging.

The brand’s social media rollout has already sparked buzz, with consumers sharing their first sips and cozy moments under the hashtag #SipItLoud.

Dairyland launches first Kenyan Dairy-Free Vegan Ice Cream

In 2023, Dairyland products brands announced the launch of the first-ever Kenyan vegan ice cream under the brand name Dairyland Dairy-Free Vegan Ice Cream.

According to the dairy processor, the product is aimed to cater to the growing population of lactose-intolerant consumers and aligns with the global shift towards health, wellness, and environmental awareness.

“Our Vegan Ice Cream is a game-changer for individuals who are lactose intolerant. They can now indulge in their favourite frozen dessert without any limitations,” Milan Kabata, the company’s Head of Marketing said.

During the launch of the product, Glacier highlighted that the product is a Dairy-Free, soy-based ice cream that offers a creamy and indulgent treat for everyone.

It added that the introduction of the product was aimed at providing an inclusive dessert option without compromising on taste and quality.

“We have carefully developed flavours such as Vanilla, Strawberry, Hazelnut, Cappuccino, and Brownie, ensuring a rich and satisfying experience for our customers.”

To create awareness and excitement around the launch, Dairyland initiated a campaign named ‘The Dairy-Free Dream’.

This campaign was aimed to position Dairyland Vegan Ice Cream as an inclusive treat that fulfils the desires and dreams of those who have longed to enjoy ice cream despite their lactose intolerance.

“We believe that dreams do come true, and through our new Dairy-Free Vegan Ice Cream, we are making the dream of enjoying ice cream a reality for the lactose-intolerant community,” Kabata added.
