Anne will succeed Frank Van Stipdonk.

BELGIUM – European Dairy Trade Association (Eucolait), a body that represents the European dairy trading community, has appointed Anne Randles as its President.
Anne will succeed Frank Van Stipdonk as President of Eucolait, the recently retired chair and Chief Executive officer of Interfood Group.
Anne Randles is the Director of Corporate Affairs at Ireland’s largest dairy export company, Ornua. She has served as a board member of Eucolait since 2008, during which time she previously held the position of Vice President.
Additionally, she serves on several dairy industry-related boards both in Ireland and internationally, including the International Dairy Federation (IDF) National Committee for Ireland, the dairy subsidiary board of Bord Bia and the board of Ireland’s Butter Museum.
“I am extremely honoured and proud to have been elected by the board of Eucolait as the association’s president. I also want to extend my best wishes to my predecessor, Frank Van Stipdonk, on his retirement and thank him for his exemplary service to Eucolait and European dairy trade,” she said.
Eucolait’s Secretary General, Jukka Likitalo, acknowledged that Anne has been a valuable colleague for over a decade. He expressed his appreciation for her expertise, dedication, and foresight, emphasizing his eagerness to strengthen their collaboration for the benefit of all Eucolait members.
European dairy sector reinforces commitment to sustainability
Earlier this year, the European dairy sector remained steadfast in its commitment to achieving a net climate-neutral EU by 2050 while ensuring food and nutritional security amid geopolitical uncertainties and sustainability challenges.
The European Dairy Association (EDA) has reaffirmed the industry’s focus on environmental, social, and economic sustainability, emphasizing that a diet must align with individuals’ nutritional needs to be truly sustainable.
A report by the EDA highlights ongoing initiatives by dairy companies and associations across Europe, showcasing the industry’s role in advancing climate goals.
“The dairy sector is not only reducing its carbon footprint but also actively contributing to the green transition through carbon farming and circular resource use,” stated the EDA.
The sector remains one of the most efficient globally in terms of carbon intensity and aims to further mitigate on-farm greenhouse gas emissions through sustainable pasturelands, which serve as vital carbon sinks.
