Ultramel Delight has undergone multiple consumer tests, consistently achieving excellent scores across all attributes, including overall appearance, aroma, taste, and texture.

Danone SA unveils Nutriday Orange-Pine Dairy Drink
Recently, the company introduced its latest product, the Nutriday Orange-Pine Dairy Drink, a refreshing blend of orange and pineapple flavours combined with creamy dairy, targeting moms and families seeking a nutritious and tasty option.
The Nutriday Orange-Pine Dairy Drink is fortified with live cultures and 12 essential vitamins and minerals, including Vitamins A, D, E, and a range of B vitamins (such as B2, B6, and B12), as well as zinc and calcium.
According to Danone Southern Africa’s official product details, these nutrients are carefully selected to support everyday health, with a single serving providing approximately 15% of the daily recommended intake for these essential micronutrients.
This launch aligns with Danone’s mission to address nutritional deficiencies prevalent in South Africa.
According to the South African National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, 43.6% of South African children under five suffer from Vitamin A deficiency. In comparison, 27.2% of the population lacks adequate zinc intake, both of which are critical for immune function and growth.
The inclusion of live cultures also supports gut health, a growing focus in nutritional science due to its link to overall well-being.
In South Africa, where malnutrition remains a challenge, such fortification is significant. According to the Global Nutrition Report, 27% of South African children under five are stunted due to chronic undernutrition, highlighting the need for accessible, nutrient-rich foods.
Thus, the Nutriday Orange-Pine Dairy Drink, with its fortified profile, offers a practical solution for families looking to boost their intake of key nutrients in a palatable format.
