Pakistan enters Chinese market with its first camel milk powder export

This move strengthens Pakistan’s agricultural exports and opens up new opportunities in the growing demand for dairy products in China.

PAKISTAN – The Ministry of Food, Pakistan, has announced it has started the first export of camel milk powder to China.

The country announced that the export is being carried out in partnership with two prominent Chinese companies: One HK Holding Ltd and Xi’an ‘TUO ZHONG TUO’ Biotechnology Limited Company.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Federal Minister for National Food Security & Research Rana Tanveer Hussain, stated that the venture opens new avenues for Pakistan’s dairy products in the international market and demonstrates the untapped potential of the country’s agricultural sector.

He emphasised that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan’s agriculture sector is being revitalised and will continue to expand, offering more opportunities for innovation, employment, and economic growth.

“This achievement is not only a testament to our capabilities but also an inspiration for others to explore international collaboration in emerging sectors. The Ministry of National Food Security and Research remains fully committed to supporting such innovative efforts that boost exports, create jobs, and strengthen the national economy,” he noted.

In a statement, the Ministry of Food stated that the launch of Pakistan’s camel milk powder export venture has created many new job opportunities and significantly strengthened the country’s economy, establishing it as a strong contender in the specialised dairy export market.
