Qatari royal delegation arrives with pledges that add a massive boost to Zimbabwe’s dairy economy.

The visit aimed to explore India’s cooperative dairy model—particularly the Amul pattern—and identify opportunities for bilateral collaboration in dairy, livestock development, and technology transfer.

These transitions were formalized during Dairibord’s 30th Annual General Meeting.

Zimbabwe imported US$67.9 million worth of dairy products since the levy began.

These efforts come amid rising demand for dairy products and a growing recognition of the sector’s potential to contribute meaningfully to economic growth and food security.
