Over the next 12 months, the refreshed identity will roll out across Pauls packaging, supported by a new brand communications platform.

AUSTRALIA – Lactalis Australia has announced that Pauls, its brand, has rebranded its logo to create a more consistent look and feel across the entire product range.
The new logo marks a strategic evolution for Pauls, a staple in Australian households since 1933 and one of Lactalis Australia’s leading dairy brands.
The redesign aims to give the brand a more contemporary look while keeping the familiar elements consumers associate with Pauls’ long-standing reputation for quality dairy products.
Pauls has built its market presence across a wide portfolio of dairy products, including milk, cream, custards, yoghurts, and flavored milk beverages.
The brand recently introduced Pauls Kids Tropical Yoghurt, a product designed to blend nutrition with fun for young consumers.
The new yoghurt comes in a convenient pouch format and is fortified with calcium and vitamin D, nutrients essential for growing children. Importantly, it contains no artificial colours, aligning with the consumers’ increasing demand for healthier snack options.
What sets Pauls Kids Tropical Yoghurt apart is its playful packaging, featuring colourful characters that aim to make snack time more engaging and enjoyable.
Lactalis Australia to shut down its Longwarry manufacturing site in 2027
The company announced it will close its manufacturing facility in Longwarry, in Victoria’s West Gippsland region.
After a comprehensive strategic review of its national manufacturing footprint, the French-owned multinational confirmed it will phase out production at the Longwarry plant starting in late 2026, with a complete site shutdown scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
Lactalis’ acquisition of Fonterra left the company with a regional surplus of manufacturing capacity and a deficit in raw milk volumes to run all Victorian sites efficiently.
Longwarry, which specialises in milk powders and speciality dairy ingredients, has operated at roughly 40% capacity, making its long-term operating costs unsustainable alongside larger, neighbouring assets.
Under the restructuring plan, processing volumes from Longwarry will be transferred to Lactalis’s nearby Darnum facility—located just 20 minutes away—as well as other processing plants across Victoria.
The closure impacts approximately 49 factory employees and contractors at the Longwarry site.
