Zimbabwe has gradually reduced milk powder import tariffs, incentivizing local production.

According to the processor, it will enable it to expand its whey processing and product innovation capabilities.

This move, which establishes a new revolving credit facility, is set to run from November 14th until the end of next March.

The initiative marks a significant milestone in boosting milk productivity, improving quality, and enhancing farmer incomes across the county.

The new facility will be constructed adjacent to Asia Brewery’s existing manufacturing complex in Cabuyao.
