The launch forms part of Namibia Dairies’ efforts to provide consumers with accessible dairy products tailored to everyday consumption.
Namibia Dairies fires Wynand Oosthuizen as MD
Recently, Ohlthaver & List (O&L), the parent company of Namibia Dairies, terminated the employment of Wynand Oosthuizen as a Board member, Group Chief Operating Officer, and Acting Managing Director of Namibia Dairies.
The group said Oosthuizen has also ceased serving as a director of other O&L companies where he held board positions. The group did not disclose further details regarding the internal process or the reasons for the termination.
This follows the conclusion of an internal process, reflecting the Board and Group’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of leadership,” O&L said.
Oosthuizen was appointed Managing Director of Namibia Dairies in July 2020. During his tenure, he oversaw the company’s operations in Namibia’s dairy business before later assuming the additional role of Acting Managing Director alongside his responsibilities as O&L Group Chief Operating Officer.
Namibia Dairies operates an integrated milk production, processing, and national distribution network under strict ISO 9001 certification.
The company commands over 50% of the domestic dairy market, supplying fresh milk, UHT, and cultured dairy products to consumers nationwide.
