Mondelez India expands with new Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk Dubai Chocolate

INDIA – Mondelez India has unveiled its latest flavour innovation, Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk Dubai Chocolate.

According to the company, Dubai’s famous Kunafa chocolate has captivated food lovers worldwide. A rich, layered dessert that fuses traditional Middle Eastern kadayfi with velvety pistachio crème, it has achieved cult status across social media and dessert menus worldwide.

Now, Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk brings this globally celebrated dessert experience to India, reimagined through the signature smoothness and indulgence that only Cadbury Silk can deliver.

Commenting on the launch, Nitin Saini, Vice President – Marketing, Mondelez India, said, “Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk has always been about delivering the most indulgent chocolate experiences to our consumers. When we saw the phenomenal love for Dubai’s famous Kunafa chocolate around the world – the unique textures, rich flavours and sense of indulgence it offered, we knew Silk was the perfect canvas to bring that experience to India.

“We’ve carefully recreated the elements that made it a global sensation – the crunch of kadaifi and the richness of pistachio crème with the unmistakable smoothness of Silk. The result is a truly distinctive and indulgent treat that we believe consumers will love.”

Beneath the iconic Silk chocolate shell lies a carefully crafted filling featuring crispy kadayfi pastry for a distinctive crunch and layered with rich pistachio crème.

Together they create a multi-sensorial experience wrapped in the smooth, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate that has made Silk synonymous with everyday luxury.

For years, Cadbury Dairy Milk Silk has been at the forefront of bringing premium, indulgent flavour experiences to Indian consumers, elevating everyday moments of indulgence, from meaningful gifting occasions to personal moments of self-reward.

With Dubai chocolate, the brand continues this legacy by bringing a globally inspired dessert experience to India, ensuring consumers remain at the heart of the world’s most exciting taste trends.

In 2025, the company also introduced Cadbury Dairy Milk lineup — Milkinis, a crème-filled chocolate bar aimed at younger, mobile consumers.

Available in two pack sizes — a 17g single bar priced at Rs 20 and a 34g twin-bar pack at Rs 40 — Milkinis is designed to appeal the Gen-Zs. Company executives said the launch aligns with evolving consumer preferences, where convenience and bite-sized indulgence are increasingly in demand.
