Dendairy crowned superbrand winner in Zimbabwe’s dairy sector

Zimbabwe – Dendairy has been honoured at the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe Superbrand Awards, earning recognition as a Superbrand winner in the FMCG Fresh Milk Production sector.

In addition to this accolade, Dendairy’s popular Maaz brand was recognised among the top performers in the Sour Milk Production sector, further underscoring the company’s strong presence across diverse dairy categories.

To crown it, Dendairy was also named among the Top 20 Superbrands in Zimbabwe, a distinction awarded from a pool of more than 200 brands nationwide. This recognition places Dendairy among the country’s most influential and respected consumer brands.

Klein River Cheese Celebrates Record Win at World Cheese Awards 2025

Klein River Cheese achieved great success at the World Cheese Awards 2025 in Bern, Switzerland, bringing home 10 medals.

This marks the company’s largest awards haul in its history and a proud moment for South African cheesemaking.

Among the accolades, Klein River secured one Super Gold, two Gold, two Silver, and five Bronze medals, standing out in a competition that attracted a record-breaking 5,244 entries judged blind by 265 global experts.

The highlight of the awards was the Babylonstoren Parmesan aged 24 months, which won Super Gold and was crowned Best South African Cheese. This achievement places it among the top cheeses of the entire competition.

Other medal winners included: Bronze: Danbo, Havarti, Gruberg Young (3 months), Woolworths Oak Smoked Stanford, and Cape Leopard (new release), Silver: Spar Signature Selection Smoked Artisan Gouda and Gruberg Vintage (12 months) and Gold: Parmesan (12 months) and Gruberg Mature (6 months).
