Feedworks USA expands into Northern Mexico ruminant market

Feedworks has partnered with Framex, a Chihuahua-based company, which will serve as the exclusive distributor of Feedworks Lytes in the region.

MEXICO – Feedworks USA has announced its entry into the Northern Mexico ruminant market with the launch of its Feedworks Lytes™ Hydration Program, a scientifically designed line of oral supplements to support optimal performance in beef and dairy cattle.

The rollout will be showcased at EXPOGAN Chihuahua, scheduled from September 25 to October 5, 2025.

The expansion marks a significant step for the U.S.-based company, which has distributed research-proven speciality feed additives since 2005.

Through its newly formed initiative, Feedworks USA•MEX, the company aims to strengthen livestock productivity in Mexico by introducing science-backed nutritional solutions.

“As part of our continued growth and desire to service the Mexico market, Feedworks USA has established Feedworks USA•MEX, a dedicated initiative to support Mexico’s livestock industry with science-backed nutritional solutions,” said Mike Parsley, Feedworks USA Partner and General Manager.

Tailored products for cattle and calves

The Feedworks Lytes program offers three distinct formulations to meet the hydration needs of cattle at different stages of development.

Feedworks Lytes™ for Cattle is a ready-to-use oral supplement designed for beef and dairy animals from post-weaning through maturity.

When mixed into feed or water, it provides electrolytes, energy, and vitamins to support recovery during stress events such as transportation, health challenges, or environmental shifts.

For younger animals, Feedworks Lytes™ for Calves provides electrolytes, energy, and glycine to restore balance during illness or stress.

Its unique flavouring encourages water intake, and its 10-dose resealable packaging allows calf raisers to conveniently mix it with water, milk, or milk replacer.

Feedworks Lytes™ for Starter Calves takes a proactive approach, supplying hydration, energy, chelated minerals, and vitamins daily during the critical preweaning period.

The supplement is designed to be cost-effective and easy to use, with directions recommending one packet per 128 gallons of water or one teaspoon per two quarts.

By encouraging animals to hydrate themselves, the program helps cattle adapt more easily to stressors, recover more quickly, and maintain productivity even under challenging conditions.

We’re pleased to announce that Framex, a Chihuahua, Mexico-based company with extensive expertise in ruminant nutrition, will serve as the Feedworks Lytes distributor in the Northern Mexico market, bringing our innovative hydration program to cattle producers in their region,” Parsley said.
