SADAFCO leads charge with Tetra Pak E3 deployment

SAUDI ARABIA – SADAFCO has announced the leading deployment of the Tetra Pak E3 platform, a groundbreaking advancement in aseptic filling technology that utilizes electron beam (eBeam) sterilization instead of traditional hydrogen peroxide.

This innovative technology enables significantly higher production speeds, up to 40,000 portion packs per hour, while dramatically reducing water, energy, and chemical consumption.

The agreement to implement this innovative technology was formalized by Patrick Stillhart, CEO of SADAFCO, and Konstantin Kolesnik, Managing Director of Tetra Pak Arabia Area.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in their ongoing strategic partnership, combining SADAFCO’s market leadership with Tetra Pak’s technological innovation to deliver high-quality, sustainable dairy products.

Tetra Pak E3/Speed hyper-filling machine features eBeam sterilisation, with the capacity of producing 40,000 packages per hour and offers a reduction in customer operational costs while minimising environmental impact. 

This machine can produce roughly 1.6 times the number of packs compared to other high-speed lines in the aseptic industry while using similar space or footprint on the factory floor.

In addition to a positive impact on operational costs, it also consumes 30% less power and up to 45% less water compared to the Tetra Pak A3 speed filling machine.

The machine also supports under-filling for all package volumes, allowing manufacturers to adjust product fill levels in response to rising costs in the value chain ensuring affordable options for lower-income consumers. 

It stands out from other aseptic filling machines on the market due to several unique selling points. Its electron beam (eBeam) sterilisation system significantly reduces utility consumption and operational costs, enabling better business returns.

Additionally, the machine boasts high capacity and output per square metre, contributing to long-term profitability.
