Oman Air, Mazoon Dairy partner to enhance in-flight dairy offerings

Recently, the company forged a strategic alliance with Oman Air to become the airline’s primary supplier of dairy essentials, such as fresh milk, laban, yoghurt, and cheese.

This initiative aligns with Oman Air’s broader commitment to fostering In-Country Value (ICV) by strengthening partnerships with Omani businesses.

Ali Al-Buali, Chief Executive Officer at Mazoon Dairy, said, “We are proud to partner with Oman Air as their official dairy provider. This agreement represents a milestone in our growth journey, expanding our reach on a global scale, while supporting our broader vision for national economic development. Today, we offer a diverse range of high-quality products, adhering to the highest industry standards and best practices. We look forward to meeting the expectations of the national carrier by delivering premium dairy products on board.”

The partnership with Mazoon Dairy marks yet another milestone in Oman Air’s continuous efforts to integrate local excellence into its supply chain.

By prioritizing homegrown suppliers, the airline strengthens its ties to Oman’s economic ecosystem while offering passengers a taste of the nation’s finest produce.

This collaboration underscores Oman Air’s dedication to showcasing the Sultanate’s rich agricultural and entrepreneurial spirit, further solidifying its role as a champion of Omani business on the global stage.

Oman Air has been instrumental in supporting SMEs through its Vendor Development Programme, designed to elevate local suppliers by improving their operational capabilities, ensuring adherence to international standards, and enhancing contractual performance.

Once SMEs are onboarded, the airline provides them with mentorship and monitoring, helping them scale their products and refine their business models. The ultimate aim is to establish long-term agreements that create sustainable growth opportunities for these enterprises.
