Arla Foods Ingredients, MasterSense partner to distribute products in Chile

This collaboration builds on their successful partnership in Mexico, which began in 2024, and aims to bring innovative nutrition solutions to Chile.

CHILE – Arla Foods Ingredients, a supplier of dairy-based ingredients, has extended its distribution partnership with MasterSense to bring innovative nutrition solutions to the Chilean market.

The agreement covers two key segments: performance nutrition, including sports nutrition, health, and supplements, and food and beverage, with a focus on dairy, bakery, beverages, and food service.

This collaboration builds on their successful partnership in Mexico, which began in 2024, and aims to bring innovative nutrition solutions to Chile.

Gustavo Assis, President of MasterSense, expressed pride in expanding the company’s partnership with Arla Foods Ingredients, emphasizing that the collaboration reflects their strong belief in the future of food being driven by innovation, functionality, and consumer health.

He highlighted Chile as a progressive market and conveyed confidence that the partnership would provide significant value to both local manufacturers and consumers.

Assis also noted that MasterSense’s extensive expertise and technical support capabilities would play a key role in ensuring the success of this initiative.

A recent Arla Foods Ingredients survey of 1000 Chilean consumers found that great taste, convenience, naturalness, and high-protein content were their most important considerations when purchasing food.

One in four considered “whey protein” a desirable claim. When asked which products they would like to contain more protein, Chilean consumers cited yoghurts, dairy beverages, bread and juice as their top choices.

Vinicius Morais, Head of Sales South America at Arla Foods Ingredients, said: “As a global leader in improving premium nutrition, we are hugely excited about this new opportunity to co-operate even further with MasterSense. There’s a high level of innovation in the Chilean food and beverage industry and it’s one of our top three markets in the region. This agreement will help us strengthen our footprint and support to Chilean producers.”

Arla Foods Ingredients, Brenntag Group expand partnership

Recently, the company expanded its distribution partnership with the Brenntag Group to expand into three of Southeast Asia’s largest food and nutrition markets.

The continued partnership will enable Brenntag to distribute Arla Foods Ingredients’ high-quality whey and dairy protein ingredients across Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia.

According to Arla, the ingredients will support and meet the demand of key sectors such as health foods, infant nutrition, and sports nutrition, along with functional solutions for dairy and bakery products.
