The campaign features high-visibility billboards showcasing the product’s benefits.

EGYPT – Juhayna, a manufacturer of dairy products, has rolled out a new (out-of-home) OOH campaign across Cairo to introduce its latest product: lactose-intolerant milk.
The lactose-free milk is available in two variants, fat-free and 3% fat, catering to consumers with lactose intolerance while maintaining essential nutrients.
According to the company, this new product ensures that individuals who struggle with digesting lactose can still enjoy the nutritional benefits of milk without discomfort.
To introduce the product, Juhayna has rolled out an out-of-home (OOH) advertising campaign across key locations in Greater Cairo. The high-visibility billboards emphasise the advantages of lactose-free milk, highlighting digestive ease, high calcium content, and essential vitamins.
Through this campaign, Juhayna aims to raise awareness about lactose intolerance and provide a solution for individuals looking for dairy alternatives.
Juhayna’s expansion into speciality dairy products aligns with growing consumer demand for functional and health-focused food options. As the demand for lactose-free dairy continues to rise globally, Juhayna’s new offering positions the company as a forward-thinking market leader in Egypt’s dairy sector
Juhayna expands business with merger of subsidiaries
Recently, the company moved to consolidate its operations with the merger of four of its subsidiaries: Elmasreya for Dairy Products Company, Eldawleya Modern Food Industries Company, Egyptian Food Industries Company (Egyfood), and El Marwa Food Industries.
According to a disclosure made to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on November 24, 2024, the merger will be executed based on the book value of the companies as per their 2023 financial statements.
Notably, the merger aims to streamline operations while adding new business activities, reflecting Juhayna’s commitment to innovation and expansion in response to shifting market demands.
The changes brought about by the merger will include amendments to the company’s Articles of Association, which will be presented for approval at an extraordinary general meeting (EGM).
Despite these structural shifts, Juhayna has confirmed that the authorized and issued capital of the company will remain unchanged.
The merger is set to enhance the company’s agility in responding to both local and global market trends, particularly in the dairy sector, where consumer preferences are increasingly favoring healthier and more sustainable alternatives.
