Brenntag expands operations in Indonesia

INDONESIA – Brenntag, the global market leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution, has announced the opening of its new Innovation & Application Center for Nutrition in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The center supports food and beverage manufacturers in Indonesia and Southeast Asia with localized technical expertise, application development and product innovation capabilities.

The Innovation & Application Center offers formulation development, application testing, laboratory analysis, pilot production, and technical training for food and beverage manufacturers.

Equipped with a UHT pilot plant, it enables customers and supplier partners to validate and refine new product concepts before commercialization.

As part of Brenntag’s network of 31 Nutrition Innovation & Application Centers worldwide, the facility combines local application expertise with access to global technical knowledge.

The center serves customers across a broad range of nutrition segments, including beverages, bakery, confectionery, convenience food, dairy, meat, poultry and fish processing, nutraceuticals, sauces and condiments, specialized nutrition, and plant-based products.

Brenntag expands Asia Pacific nutrition capabilities in Mumbai 

Earlier this year, the company expanded its Asia Pacific nutrition capabilities with the opening of a new Nutrition Innovation & Application Centre in Andheri East, Mumbai.

This move strengthens technical, analytical and flavour application support for food and beverage customers across the region.

The Mumbai facility features dedicated laboratories and application kitchens. Brenntag said these capabilities are intended to shorten development cycles and enable faster scale-up from concept to commercialisation.
