Seoul Dairy introduces new product in SIG’s packaging bottle

The new product marks Seoul Dairy’s move into the growing daily nutrition and meal replacement segment, reflecting changing consumer needs in South Korea.

SOUTH KOREA – Seoul Dairy Cooperative has launched One Meal Daily Care, its first product in the nutrition drink category, in SIG DomeMini, SIG’s unique carton bottle designed for convenient on-the-go consumption.

As the country’s ageing population grows and consumers place greater focus on convenient nutrition, products that combine trusted dairy expertise with easy-to-consume packaging solutions are becoming increasingly relevant.

Packed in SIG DomeMini, One Meal Daily Care offers a convenient single-serve format for consumers looking for daily nutrition that fits easily into modern lifestyles.

The bottle-shaped carton pack SIG DomeMini provides strong shelf differentiation while offering the convenience of a centrally positioned closure that is easy to open, reseal, and drink from directly.

For Seoul Dairy, the launch represents an expansion beyond its core dairy portfolio into a new nutrition-focused product occasion.

By selecting SIG DomeMini, Seoul Dairy can bring its dairy expertise into a category where portability, ease of use, and product trust are important considerations for consumers.

Moon Jin-Seop, President of Seoul Dairy Cooperative, said: “Following the success of A2 Milk, we see One Meal Daily Care as another key growth driver for Seoul Dairy in the balanced nutrition segment.

“With A2 milk and reduced lactose, the product reflects our commitment to delivering nutrition in a more convenient way, in line with evolving consumer needs. One Meal Daily Care’s strong early performance, with more than 3 million units sold in just 80 days since launch, shows the growing demand for convenient daily nutrition solutions.”

SIG DomeMini combines the protective, environmental and logistical benefits of a carton pack with the convenience of a bottle, making it suitable for UHT products such as specialty milk, protein drinks, plant-based alternatives, and meal replacements.

The format is mainly made from FSC™-certified paperboard and produced using 100% renewable electricity.

With its high share of forest-based renewable material, resource-efficient structure, and space-saving design, SIG DomeMini offers advantages compared with alternative packaging options such as plastic bottles.

Beyond consumer convenience, SIG’s flexible aseptic filling technology gives food and beverage manufacturers the ability to explore new product categories and formats more efficiently.

The sleeve-based filling technology, where each carton sleeve is individually shaped, filled, and ultrasonically sealed above the filling level rather than through the product, enables agility in switching packaging sizes and formats with unmatched, short changeover times, while maintaining high speed at all flexibility levels.

This flexibility supports customers as they respond to changing consumer needs, develop differentiated products, and expand into new consumption occasions.
