INDIA – Parag Milk Foods has appointed Phalgun Trivedi as Chief – R&D, Quality Control and Food Safety Officer, who has over three decades of experience across leading global food, beverage and dairy organizations.
Phalgun brings deep expertise in quality, food safety, manufacturing operations, innovation and R&D across diverse markets.
At Parag Milk Foods, Trivedi will lead the R&D, Quality Control, and Food Safety functions, focusing on further building quality systems, strengthening food safety practices, and driving quality excellence across its portfolio and manufacturing ecosystem.
His role will be important as the company continues to expand its presence across dairy and new-age nutrition categories.
The company stated that as it continues to evolve from a dairy company into a broader nutrition-led organisation, quality and food safety remain at the heart of how we build consumer trust and create products for the future.
“We look forward to Phalgun’s experience and leadership as we continue to raise the bar across our products, processes and manufacturing ecosystem. Welcome to the Parag Milk Foods family, Phalgun.”
His appointment comes at a time when Parag Milk Foods is expanding its portfolio beyond traditional dairy into high-growth nutrition and protein categories, while continuing to focus on quality, food safety and consumer trust across its brands and products.
Recently, the company unveiled a revamped brand identity for its premium dairy line, Pride of Cows, aiming to reposition the business as an aspirational lifestyle choice.
The transformation focuses on making the brand’s distinctive character visible again after years of crowded category communication.
While the visual expression has changed, the underlying operational foundation remains unchanged. The brand continues to rely on its single-origin philosophy, sourcing milk from one specific farm and herd.
The new identity features the egret as a central motif. This bird, found around the company’s farm, serves as a quiet observer of the landscape and rhythms of the farm ecosystem. This approach shifts the storytelling focus from the cow alone to the broader farm environment.
The new identity seeks to connect with younger consumers by moving beyond conventional dairy communication towards a proposition built around nourishment, wellbeing, and intentional living.
