IMCD Group appoints Vlad Miller as President for United States operations

Miller’s promotion is part of a broader set of leadership developments at IMCD and within the speciality chemicals distribution sector.

USA – Speciality chemicals distributor IMCD Group has named Vlad Miller as President for the United States, with the appointment taking effect on 1 August 2026.

In his new capacity, Miller will concentrate on advancing commercial and operational performance throughout IMCD’s U.S. operations, strengthening ties with both customers and suppliers, and building on the solid groundwork already established by the local team.

Miller has been with IMCD’s U.S. operation since 2018, initially joining as Vice President of Finance.

His responsibilities were broadened in 2022 to include Operations, giving him oversight of both financial and operational functions across the U.S. business.

Most recently, he steered the U.S. market on an interim basis for five months prior to being confirmed in the permanent role.

Andreas Igerl, President Americas and Chief Commercial Officer, IMCD, stated,”Vlad knows IMCD in the US inside out: its people, its partners, and what it takes to grow here.”

“The past five months have shown his commercial and business acumen, and I am confident he and the team will keep building on that strong foundation.”

Before moving into speciality chemicals distribution, Miller built his career in banking and finance, holding senior finance positions at Sherwin-Williams.

He holds a Master of Science in Financial Management from the University of London and a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance and Economics from Case Western Reserve University.

Miller said he is “genuinely excited” about the opportunities ahead, crediting the U.S. team for much of the progress achieved to date.

He emphasized that his focus will be on close collaboration with the team, as well as with customers and suppliers, to sustain growth and ensure partners receive the full value of IMCD’s capabilities.
