Africa Dairy Innovations Summit kicks off in Nairobi, Kenya

KENYA – The Africa Dairy Innovations Summit (AFDIS), Africa’s Premier Dairy Learning & Networking Conference, Trade Show and Awards Ceremony, has officially opened its doors today at the Argyle Grand Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya.  

Under the overall theme of adopting new technologies & practices to boost access to nutritious, safe, affordable & convenient dairy products in Africa, the summit brings together influential investors, managers and professionals from the dairy industry value chain in Africa and globally.

Organized by FW Brands MEA, the pan-African conference and exhibition aims to help shape the future of the dairy industry in Africa and foster the exchange of experiences, new technologies, and market trends, that will lead to a more prosperous, innovative and sustainable dairy industry in the Continent.

AFDIS 2026 is in dual format, with conference sessions and the Expo Hall available in both virtual and physical formats, to facilitate participation of delegates and visitors from across Africa and globally.

The Africa Dairy Innovations Summit will cover the following categories within the dairy foods and beverages plus related products: packaged milk & infant foods, fermented milk products, cheese, butter & other products, plant-based & alternative products, frozen milk products, among many others

Alongside the summit is the Africa Dairy Industry Awards ceremony and gala dinner, where industry leaders and companies within the dairy value chain in Africa will be feted and celebrated by all.

From farm to fork, the awards shine a spotlight on achievements across milk production, processing, technology, sustainability, animal health, value addition, packaging, logistics, and market development.

The following categories are to be awarded: dairy industry person of the year, dairy product innovations of the year, dairy processor of the year, co-operative of the year, dairy industry investment of the year, and the commercial dairy farm of the year.
